priest IFABUKOLA OBIDIRAN OBALUAYE is an exponent of African Traditional
Religion. He was born in Oyo state
His father OLADEJO OBIMUYIWA ADEGBAI III
the Baale Sanponna of Yorubaland was a fanatic and staunch advocate of the
indigenous system of worship, as an unreserved protagonist of African
traditional religion. That is why he started train as an African Traditional
religion starting from his grass root.
He is one of the Sanponna worshipers (OBALUAYE) that is why
people called him “OBALUAYE” from his childhood as an ‘Alias’
He learnt from Chief Priest Oloye
Adejare Awosope (Ajitena Awo Alaafin of Oyo) but, now passed away, may his soul
rest in perfect peace. Furtherance, after that he step forward to become a
famous and widely accepted Ifa man to this present time.
Ifabukola Obidiran Obaluaye is a well traveled
and controversial African Traditional worshipper. Practiced and conceptualized
African Traditional Religion. He was a young priest of Alayeluwa, Oba Lamidi
Olayiwola III the Alaafin of Oyo, and Alayeluwa, Oba Ganiyu Eniadenwa, Obatula
Second, the Olofin of Iseri, Adimula of Awori Land, Ogun state.

Basically, there are people that God
cannot fail to crown their effort with success, not because they are special
being but, they are created excelled and to be blessed. Chief priest Ifabukola Obaluaye
is one of such being, that is why Obaluaye association crown his effort with
chieftaincy called (Elegun Obaluaye) about eleven years to this time, before he
become Baale Sanponna (Obaluaye) as their headman in all the Yorubaland after
the sudden death of his father, late OBIMUYIWA OLADEJO. He is also the Chairman
of ILE ESIN IJO EGUNGUN ALAPINNIN OYO and so on.
But,
his rehabilitation and growth has gone further, he also contribute to the
progress and development of ISESE YOUTH ORGANIZATION (A BI- ANNUAL MAGAZINE OF
ISESE YOUTH ORGANIZATION.
